KRKA NATIONAL PARK Duration of the excursion: 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or later departure is possible 12:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Departure by boat: - boarding Šibenik and Amadria Park (arrival at boarding at least 15 minutes before departure) With a pleasant cruise on the beautiful wooden boat Sv. Jakov we sail through the St. Ante channel and the UNESCO-protected St. Nicholas fortress, which offers a beautiful view from the boat, ideal for a picture or video as a souvenir. After leaving the St. Ante channel, we pass in front of the city of Šibenik and a great panoramic view of its fortresses Sv. Ivan, Sv. Mihovil and Barone, as well as the architectural masterpiece and symbol of the city of Šibenik, the Cathedral of St. Jakov. The cruise continues upstream along the Krka River towards Lake Prokljan and Skradin. During the cruise, the ship's crew serves a cold appetizer ( prosciutto, cheese, kulen, olives, pickles ). Sailing past Skradin, one of the oldest Croatian towns and a world-famous tourist and nautical destination, we enter the Krka National Park and sail to the Skradin Buk pontoon. This is followed by disembarking from the ship Sv. Jakov and, with instructions on a large map of the Krka waterfalls, a 2-hour tour of the national park; • a tour of Skradinski buk • walks along the paths and bridges that follow the formation of the waterfalls • a look at the ethno collection with a tour of the weaving workshop with an expert presentation • a tour of the mills, rolling mills and pillars that have used the power of Skradinski buk for centuries, whose travertine barriers and waterfalls leave every visitor breathless After the agreed return to the ship, lunch is prepared and served on the ship Sv. Jakov and includes veal risotto with seasonal salad and fruit. The return is scheduled for 4:30 PM or 6:30 PM, depending on the departure time.
